If you listen to today's Wrap Up Show you will see a definitive example of sound problems being on their end. The show sounded horrible, so clearly whatever employees are left there don't give a crap.

Combine that with Robin on an ISDN line the whole show and that will explain why the Stern Show has sounded rather fuzzy lately.

Robin has been back in the studio for months.I'm not surprised a Stern "fan" wouldn't know that.
